Garmin GT51 is TOPS for finding Wonky Holes

We installed a dual pair of Garmin GT51 transducers in our 40 foot Black Watch Mood Swings.

The Garmin GT 51 is a lower frequency side imager ideal for fishing deeper waters.

Because I love to find new spots and fish for Wonky Holes (underwater springs), the GT51 is ideal.

The lower frequency, combined with 500 watts of power, allows it to penetrate further.

So to give you an idea, in 50 metres of water, I can look for blemishes and structure out to 150 metres out the side of the boat.

Even in 100 metres of water, I can see out to 180 metres either side.

Hence the Garmin GT51 gives me the edge over other transducers on the market.

And allows me to get onto some amazing fish!

The reason I use a dual pair is due to the deep vee of the Black Watch hull.

So one unit sees to the left, the other to the right. They are connected to a Y cable and they both display on the one screen per normal.

The Garmin GT51 is also available in transom mount and this is what I run on the blue boat.

Since Wonky Holes are an obsession of mine, I love to search for them while we are cruising.

And look what the garmin GT51 found this time!! Solid GOLD.

SEARCHING IN THE RIGHT LOCATIONS!

Ryan makes no secret of the fact that he loves finding new untouched spots using his Garmin GT51

Because these locations are unknown to many anglers and yield better catches of trophy fish.

We have some free training that helps you see “The Big Picture” when it comes to your unit.

Remember: Nothing changes if nothing changes.

The video takes 20 minutes and then we have a 5 email “quick tips” series to help you get the most out of it.

RADICALLY GOOD FISHING – I SWEAR BY MY GARMIN GT51 TM (BLUE BOAT) AND THRU HULL PAIR (BIG BOAT).

Find big fish like this nanny-gai using the Garmin GT51
Big fish like this nanny-gai can be found on Wonky Holes and other isolated spots using the Garmin GT51. The lure of choice for these arm stretchers is the RMF Levitator jig.
Looking for Wonky holes while cruising
While cruising from A to B we watch the weather using our Starlink internet and under the water we watch for Wonky Holes and other isolated spots using the GT51 dual pair trasducers. In deeper water mostly running on 260 kHz.
