The prize includes a one day fishing trip for two people with Ryan Moody. If you live in Queensland, Ryan will come to you and the Masterclass will take place in your boat. If the winner does not have a boat or doesn’t live in Queensland, the prize will instead include a trip in Ryan’s boat for two people operating out of Cairns. Travel to Cairns, airfares, accommodation and meals are not included. The winner will be notified by email and their name and suburb will also be published on our Ryan Moody Fishing social media pages. Prize will be drawn on 30th December as part of our Fishmas celebration and is valid for one year. The winner will be drawn randomly from the Ryan Moody Fishing email mailing list. The trip date will be negotiated at a time and location convenient to both the winner and Ryan Moody Fishing.
WHO IS RYAN MOODY?
Ryan Moody started his fishing career on the reef boats before catching bucket list marlin for the likes of champion heavy tackle angler Johnno Johnson, INXS and the King of Sweden. Branching out in the late 80’s to guided barramundi fishing, Ryan has made a name for himself as a Big Barramundi specialist and to date has put clients onto over 2000 metre plus barra.
Thirty years of daily on-water fish finder interpretation, from 2 metres deep to over 400 metres, in many different conditions, has taught him to find his own spots and regularly catch trophy fish. People are amazed at his ability to name the fish species and size prior to capture, and understand things that others can’t. Hence his nickname – the fish whisperer.
With attitudes changing from ‘keep all you can’ towards catch and release, Ryan has decided to share his extensive knowledge and hopefully inspire people of all ages to get out from behind the computer screen/TV and into the fishing outdoors lifestyle he has spent his life perfecting.
