Boating safety offences you should be aware of.

Holiday time is almost here and you can be sure boating and fisheries will be out on the water doing their stuff.

I was having a chat to the fisheries guys a short while ago and asked them;

What are the most common boating safety offences people make that are easily avoided?

And they came up with the top 5.

I have compiled them all into this short video to ensure you stay safe AND save money in unnecessary fines, while out on the water this silly season.

POSTCRIPT: EPIRB registration stickers will no longer be issued (from Sept 2015). Proof of registration will need to be carried – Click here for EPIRB rego change details.

For other safety tips including a neat storage idea to secure your rods while in transit without having to use a cargo net, check out our previous blog post here: https://www.ryanmoodyfishing.com/dont-get-booked-this-xmas/

And for a bit of holiday entertainment, check out these young guns catching fish bigger than themselves during the last school holidays.

Kids will remember a fishing experience far more than a day video gaming – so get the kids outdoors this holidays.

You never know what you might catch!
